It’s cookie time!

We love Girl Scout cookies, particularly the Thin Mints. I ordered ten boxes from my youngest son’s classmate and another five from a girl at work. We got one cookie delivery this past Saturday and another today, and I’ve been wondering all week if I ordered enough to last a while. I can probably get more at the grocery store this weekend. Almost every year some Girl Scouts stand outside the store selling cookies, and they sell like crazy, better than those sales on cheap flights that you see. We all love the Thin Mint. Hubby and my oldest also like the Tagalongs, and hubby likes Samoas. What’s your favorite?

We LOVE thinmints and many others of course. I cannot keep cookies in the house though, so I do not normally buy them; except when the Girl Scouts come around.

Once they are gone though, that is it, no more cookies in the house. :) I am actually wondering were ours are. A neighbor ( I do not know which house they live in though) came buy and we ordered some, but we haven’t seen them yet…what gives? ugh

Enjoy!

It has been so long since I have had girl scout cookies. Thanks to your post I am craving them now. The next time I see the girl scouts selling their cookies, I am buying some!

I love the Samoas! I used to sell cookies as a kid, but it’s been almost fifteen years since I actually sold any!! I haven’t seen any Girl Scouts around here… maybe I’ve been going to the wrong grocery stores or something???

My babysitter actually brought us two boxes of Samoas tonight but it was pouring out and I didn’t have the heart to ask her to go back out to her car so she’ll bring them back another day.

Makes me glad the Boy Scouts don’t sell cookies, too! I have a tendency to eat too many when we buy them.

you’ve hit all my faves…Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties (the old tagalongs - I like the old name better!), and “Caramel Delites” which were the old Samoas…

I heard the lemonade cookies were really good, but they’re not selling them this year. And as luck would have it, there are no girl scouts within MILES of me, apparently! I need to find one so I can get cookies!

Linda - Do you know anyone selling them (or even buying them) that would ship them? Priority mail isn’t that expensive if you fill the box, and should ship fine. I never had the lemonade cookies but I probably would have liked them.

margaret - me too! They sold popcorn though and two years in a row every bag we bought burned a bit. Yech. I won’t buy it anymore.
