In the bathroom the word is dry but it doesn’t apply to the seat

We’re at four days now where CJ had been doing great in big boy underwear. Well, except for the pooping that is. But peeing in the potty he’s doing great at. He’s been staying dry in his big boy underwear and using the potty with fewer reminders. He points at his privates and says “dry!”. Well we’re so excited and want him to know that we’re happy and proud so we cheer too. Herein lies the problem. The cheering and pointing come midstream, as he’s realized he’s stayed dry and that it’s an exciting thing. So sometimes the stream gets redirected and doesn’t quite get in the bowl. I’m going to need to order several cases of those clean up wipes for the toilet seat. But at least he’s dry! Whoohoo!
