I have a hero in my house

A couple of weeks ago my son TJ told me about a Guitar Hero tournament that was going to be run at the local Denny’s. Of course he signed up. He got a couple of friends to sign up too. Thursday night was the first night of the tournament. The tournament started at 10pm so hubby took him, being as I get up at 4am. My sister in law even went to watch him play. He won his round and had to go back last night to play again. I wanted to see him play so this time I went. We also brought Grandma and my other sister in law. Two of TJ’s friends heard he was playing and tagged along to watch. While warming up my son’s friends were begging him to play behind his back. (I’ve seen TJ play behind his back and it is pretty neat. Some people might think he worked out with weight equipment to hold it up behind him for 4 or 5 minutes like that, but he doesn’t.) One of the boys from the night before didn’t show up. The runners up all played a song and from there they took the top two by score, one of whom was my son. The other boy went first, to give my son a couole of minutes to rest. Unfortunately, the boy failed the song, meaning the song threw him out because he couldn’t keep up and made too many errors. TJ played and finished the song, making him the Guitar Hero. He won $50 and some meal cards, making him a really happy boy. Congratulations my son!
