Home Is Calling – a request for help and a giveaway
I am a big believer in the importance of home and family. Pillsbury’s new Home Is Calling campaign brings to mind the family and home cooked meals that so many of us look forward to during the holidays. Sadly, not all people are fortunate enough to have these things to look forward to.
Pillsbury is promising to donate more than one pound of food to food banks across the nation for each time you forward their Home Is Calling campaign to a friend by email. I’m asking my readers to please help by spreading the word. If you’re hesitant, consider how many times you’ve forwarded jokes, quizzes and funny pictures to friends that they haven’t asked for, or how many times they’ve forwarded them to you that you didn’t ask for. If ever there was an email destined to be forwarded, this is the one. I guarantee the people that benefit from the food Pillsbury donates will enjoy that food far more than anyone will enjoy a forwarded joke. I am sending it to everyone I know. If they don’t like the fact that I sent it to them they’re probably not people I’d really want for a friend anyway. Thanksgiving is a time of year when people should reflect and be thankful. Thanksgiving is also a time of year when the spirit of the holidays really starts to shine and people give to others that are less fortunate. So let’s be thankful for what we have and help those less fortunate by forwarding the Home Is Calling campaign to as many people as possible, so that Pillsbury donates the maximum amount possible.

oh the Grands biscuits for sure are the best.
We just love the crescent rolls. I like them just the way they are and the kids like them wrapped around hot dogs. I like family meals because you learn so much. Just last week I learned my 5 yo’s favorite Chinese food is finger jello. We had to explain to him that just because he eats it at the Chinese buffet doen’t necessarily mean it is Chinese food, LOL!

My favorite Pilsbury product is the chocolate cookie dough boy do I love it!! What I like most about a family meal is that we get to all sit down, relax, and enjoy our time together as a family.

My favorite Pillsbury product are the crescent rolls. They’re yummy on their own or made into other types of creations.
Family dinner was always a tradition in my house. I loved being able to tell my parents all about my day and to be able to talk about upcoming events, etc. I really felt like they concentrated on what I had to say and weren’t distracted by other things. We had family dinner at least 5 days a week. I hope to do the same with my own family when I have one.

We have to have Pillsbury cinnamon rolls on Christmas or the day is ruined-mom has tried other things but we always go back to those…and we have to fight over the one in the middle because it has the most icing. I like talking at a family meal-just being together and talking, thanks
I love crescents, they are so yummy. Also what I like about a family meal is the being able to sit at the table and spend time with your family.

I love the pigs in a blanket recipe for my kids. They cannot resist the hotdogs wrapped in the heavenly crescent rolls with cheese. My kids beg for these to be made. I love the video and payed it forward to all my family and friends. Any way to help this holiday season is wonderful.
