I almost missed joining the Heads Or Tails meme this week. I signed myself up for the reminder when I did finally remember today. The theme for this week’s Heads Or Tails meme is Royal.

I’m sure a number of people thought of many other things when they think of the word royal. Royal blue, royal flush, royal caribbean cruises, royal family and royal pudding, just to name a few. But not me, I though of something else entirely.
The first thing I thought of was what my Dad calls the “royal throne”, the toilet. I recently saw a real working toilet on the internet that sells for almost $10,000! Isn’t that crazy! I put a picture of it to the left here. It’s got a working pull chain, as well as an ashtray and candle holder built in. The plaque and the bowl are both hand painted. And there’s one more feature, in case you thought this toilet wasn’t worth it. It plays the tune “Le Bon Roi Dagobert” when you raise the lid . That’s a song about “a king who arrived at the minister’s council with his trousers on backwards”. So what do you think of when you hear the word royal?
