Girls have Cahooties
When he was younger my oldest son TJ would tell us that girls had cooties. We always thought it was pretty funny. He’s now almost thirteen and he no longer thinks of girls as something to be avoided like the plague. This week the prize I won on Mom Reviews arrived and TJ had a little fun with me. See, the giveaway was for a Cahootie, a toy that reminds me of those paper fortune teller things kids made out of notebook paper and moved by moving their fingers in different directions in grade school. He saw we’d received a box and asked what it was. I told him it was a Cahootie but that it was made for girls. He said “well that figures Mom, didn’t I always tell you girls had cooties?”. Haha.
