Funny bloodwork

I got a voicemail from the pediatrician asking me to give him a call about my youngest son’s bloodwork. When I spoke with him he said some of the results were a little funny so he wanted us to go see an endocrinologist. When I asked what he meant by funny he said that the thyroid results look extremely underactive. I know many people with Down Syndrome have weight issues but I was quite surprised, because my son is small. I’ve already found a pediatric endocrinologist and scheduled it for the end of this week.
