Food allergies
Two days ago I brought a single serving microwave container of Campbell’s Italian Sausage With Pasta And Pepperoni soup with me to work. It had under 150 calories and the size was reasonable. I heated it up and took a bite and thought it was disgusting. I looked into the container and saw mushrooms. I threw the rest away. I’m guessing the mushrooms were the reason I didn’t like the taste, because I don’t like mushrooms. Hubby used to like them but he gets really sick whenever he eats them so I have to watch that premade foods don’t have them. I didn’t know the soup had mushrooms in it or I never would have bought it. Why do the ingredients on food packaging have to be so damned small?! Food allergies are an excellent reason to cook from scratch. I have a son who’s got Celiac disease, so we need to avoid all wheat, rye, barley and related products, anything with modified food starch and a bunch of other things. Hubby can’t have mushrooms without feeling like he ought to go to the emergency room. At least you know what you’re eating if you cooked it from scratch.
I happened across some Lipovox reviews and noticed that these pills contain extracts of things that some people are allergic to, fish, berries and grains. I’m guessing that people who are allergic to those things can’t take those pills.
Do you have any food allergies?
