Financial fitness

I decided to take a “financial fitness” quiz from BillsIQ to see what I could learn. The quiz had several sections and was easy to take. It had about 25 multiple choice questions and took me about 5 minutes to take. I was a little disappointed that for a couple of the questions there wasn’t really a relevant answer for me, and for one or two questions there was no appropriate answer at all. My score? 87, or a B. After taking the quiz you can get tips and advice on how to improve your score.

During the review is when I realized that some of the less relevant questions and the questions there were no appropriate answer for had brought my score down. I had not understood when beginning that this quiz is designed for people with one or more credit cards. I actually took the quiz again, answering differently to account for those questions that didn’t pertain to me. My score did improve, rising up to a 91, or an A.

During the review each answer you gave is shown along with a piece of advice or tip for the question. You’re told if you’re doing something right or if you might need a little help improving that area. I can see where it could be very helpful to someone struggling with credit card debt or just starting out with credit cards. The tips and advice given might help someone save some money and improve their credit rating.
