Feedback on updated look

I’ve been thinking about sprucing up this place for a bit now. I really wanted to brighten up the appearance. I got myself a header. I found a new theme, completely changed the coloring. The old theme was mainly white, black and red and had no header image. While I typically am not a big fan of the color yellow I do like the way the page has brightened up by adding a header image to it. So let’s hear it. Do you like it or should I change it back and keep looking?
