When I was carrying my 2nd child everyone insisted that it was a boy because I was carrying low. Everyone swore up and down that it was a boy. Until my water broke and I had my 2nd daughter!

If te baby is high in your stomach it’s a boy, if it’s lower it’s a girl.

I once worked in a floral shop with a superstitious Brazilian woman who would avoid brooms like the plague. I asked her why one day and she told me that in Brazil, if someone sweeps a broom across your feet it means you will have seven children!

I have been blessed with 2 daughters and both were 9 pounds and both had to be induced…spicy foods, sex,etc..did not help me.

Ceratain foods ( acidic? ) can determine the sex of the baby to be prior to intercourse. This was one of the tales heard.

Im wondering on how people make girls? We have 4 boys!! I heard that if you drink warm milk right before you “do it” then you will have a girl??? Never worked for me!!

Ive heard the wives tale about determining the sex of the baby. If the Daddy does all the work then the couple will have a girl. If the Momma did all the “work” then they will be having a boy. LOL

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 14 years. We decided to adopt 2 years ago and are still going through the adoption process. People always say “now that you are adopting, you will get pregnant!” Actually, that happens to less than 2 percent of people, from what I’ve been told from my doctor.

With my 2nd kid I had a friend in there watching the delivery. After my son was born my friend’s boyfriend asked to come in and see my son and I said that was fine. Next thing I know, the boyfriend’s passed out on the floor having hit his head on the way down! Made it even more memorable.

When I was in europe I saw some candles shaped like sperm and the seller said they were to increase fertility. Strange!
