I would have worn the turquoise pants with the beige top....the burgundy pants would have gone just as well. You don't have to match the detailing to anything. This comes from your friend who likes to match socks with shirts...so yeah...if I am wearing a pink shirt, I have socks to match! And who CARES what color the pants are, so long as the sox match!
