I learned about a really neat product this week and really have to Share Some Good Stuff! This week I learned of a very cool, special bike called The Caboose. Wondering what I think is so special about it? The Caboose is a bike trailer for people with special needs. This bicycle trailer sits on two wheels, and is pulled by another bicycle. It has a seat and handlebars that attach to the front, or pilot, bicycle. The Caboose comes in two models, either of which can hold a rider up to 200 pounds. It can be fitted with a seatback and folds for storage. This bike/trailer is designed for people with disabilities who may not be able to otherwise ride a bicycle. Now riders that aren’t able to ride a typical bike can experience a bike ride. People with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, even the blind! I think there is a tremendous market for a product like this. There are many people who are unable to ride a bicycle and this product affords those people the opportunity to spend some quality time with loved ones while having some fun.
