Val – Thanks for completing this! I too loved the link #5 post from 2005. Having worked with autistic children who have been “mainstreamed” into the regular school district in Illinois, I understand your feelings. We all want them to be “the same” and yet they are so special in so many way. Smart beyond belief!
While your son is not autistic, so many of the same types of events happen. Thanks for sharing.
