All good things must come to an end.

My youngest brother is going home today. We were so lucky to be able to see him over the holidays this year. It’s been several years since we were all together on Christmas Day. My parents left earlier this afternoon to take him to the airport. When he got all of his boxes and bags packed up it looked like a corporate relocation was taking place. He had so much that my Mom had to ship some of it back for him. He’s going to try and come home for 2 days in early March for a testimonial for my dinner. I’m hoping he can because if he can’t then this was the last time we’ll see him for a very long time because he’s supposed to be getting deployed the week after. I’m so proud of him for choosing to stand up for our country as well as try and better himself. And yes, I know it’s selfish of me to be sad. I need a snack.

I remember our hostel days. Only on rare occasions the four of us (me, my brother and parents) used to get together. mostly during our vacations. it was awesome. those dinners together, those chit chats. awww… i feel so nostalgic now. times change. people change. situations change :-(. i wish everything was same like in “those” days.
