A revolutionary buy
As some of you may have read, I bought myself a Macbook Pro this year. One of the accessories I’ve really been wanting to get for it is a wireless mouse. I do all right with the built in trackpad but I think there are many times where a mouse is much easier. So I’ve been looking for a mouse that I like for a month now. I do a lot of shopping online, but I’ve actually gone into a few stores to see how different mice feel, because you can’t judge feel from a picture. The one I liked the feel of the most is the Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse. Why do I like it? The shape and feel of the MX Revolution is similar to that of the trackball I have on my desktop computer and the wheel moves so smoothly it’s unbelievable.
Having identified the mouse I liked, I began my hunt for the right deal. No matter what website I looked on or what store I looked in, the MX Revolution mouse was priced between $80 and $100. Since that’s a bit out of my price range at this point in time, I decided I could do without it.
I went to the Buy.com website this morning because I needed to start looking for some gifts I have to buy. The first place I usually browse on the Buy.com website is the sale section. I’ve found some really terrific money saving offers in the weekly deals there.
I couldn’t believe my eyes! Right there in front of me, in the first page of the specials, was the Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse that I want. I was sure it was the exact same model I’d priced because there are a bunch of pictures and reviews of it on the site. The mouse is on sale for $68.33, which is a good price. On top of that Buy.com is offering a $30 rebate through 06/09/08, bringing the final price to $38.33! That’s a smoking hot deal! How hot? The mouse is currently one of the bestselling items on Buy.com.
I gotta get me one of these! Boy am I glad I shop Buy.com! Now I don’t have to wait and I don’t have to settle. I can have the mouse I want without spending money I don’t have. Sweet deal!
