What does this sticker mean?

I often notice bumper stickers, as well as stickers that people have on their car windows. There have been many times I saw the little oval sticker that said OB, which I always thought meant Outer Banks. But over the past few weeks I have noticed a number of cars with little oval stickers that said OBX, with Outer Banks in tiny print along the bottom. Now I searched OB on google and found tampons. I searched OBX and found Outer Banks. So does that mean people are advertising tampons or a vacation spot?
