My older son has called me Mom for a couple of years now. It's easier for my younger son to say Mom or Ma, so he always has called me that.

The difference is your son is getting older and working his way to gaining independence, and you are not willing to let him go. Does he still call you mom or mommy. I still call my mother mommy, as well as my other sisters and brothers say the same thing, but our kids think we talk like babies calling our mom mommy. What is the difference, we don't want to get older.
See you next year, missed you this week!!!!!!!!!!
