This vacation stinks
Anyone that knows me knows I go to the race in Watkins Glen NY every year. We take the camper up there, along with my parents and one of my brothers. I couldn’t go this year because I am recovering from the surgery. This is the first year I was unable to go in probably 10 years or so. My parents told me our new campsite is nice, too bad I couldn’t see it. I was told the weather this year was almost perfect (there’s been rain almost every year). I haven’t been outside in weeks. While they’ve been relaxing, I can’t get comfortable. While they were out and about, I was stuck on the couch because I can hardly walk and when I do it hurts like hell. By the way, it really sucks watching the highlight of your vacation (the race) on television while your family is actually there. My son’s (and brother’s) favorite driver Tony Stewart won. Kurt started well but only managed an 11th place finish. Jamie’s day was not good.
Hubby will be going back to work tomorrow.

Too bad about the trip. Hope the surgery went well. Just remember how they acted when it is time for their birthday or Christmas gift. LOL
That really does suck that you had to miss a fun, traditional trip with family. Hope you’re feeling all better now!
