The importance of backing up

Ever thought about making an online backup? I was doing a scan of my hard drive with Norton today, which I try to do once a month. I also check if the drive needs to be defragmented every couple of months. Anyway. As I sat watching what files the scan was going through, I realized how much personal information we all have on our computers. We’ve all lost a document we’ve been working on at least once, and know how frustrating it can be. Imagine if you lost every document you had. For me, that would include but not be limited to applications, emails, letters, work stuff, tax returns, and last but certainly not least pictures. The idea of losing all of that information made me realize I don’t back up my information nearly often enough. I have backed up some stuff to cds. But imagine if the cds turned out to be coasters or got broken. No stuff. This can’t happen if you’re using idrive, because it’s all done via the web. I notice there is a free plan, I do believe I’m going to sign up. No excuses for not backing up now.
