Surgery scheduled

This morning I went to the hospital and had a chest xray and some more labwork done. On the way home I stopped and got my oil changed. I got the call from the surgeon’s office. They were unable to get my surgery scheduled for Friday. It is instead scheduled for Monday, which means I will be spending my birthday in the hospital. What a wonderful birthday present, surgery. Not. The only thing about this that I appreciate is that I don’t have to starve myself again so soon.
