Seen any wedding invitations lately?

For those of you that are married, how did you decide what you wanted for wedding invitations? When I got married, my parents made our invitations because none of us had any money.
There are a number of things I don’t exactly get about formal wedding invitations, one of them being that little white piece of tissue stuffed in there.
MyGatsby.com is an online store that carries wedding invitations, baby and birth announcements, party and holiday invitations, envelopes and stationery.
When I decided to review this site, I thought I would just find all sorts of bland and boring plain pieces of paper. I was surprised to see they had alot of really nice things.
Navigation of the site is very easy, the menus are easy to read and understand.
On this site you can order custom invitations as well as DIY (do it yourself) invitations.
Every wedding invitation I have ever seen or received was white, off white, ivory or beige. MyGatsby offers a huge selection of colors for invitations. If you have a theme or have your colors picked out, you can have your invitations match. Some of their paper color sample pages have more colors than a big crayon box.
Writing the invitations yourself? There are pages upon pages of helpful tips, suggestions, and correct etiquette.
They carry those “save the date” cards that some people send out now. I think of it as an announcement for an announcement.
One of my favorites is an invitation located in the section for birth announcements for a baby boy that looks like pajamas.
There is an entire section of stationery including thank you cards (don’t ask my Mom about thank you cards), labels and stickers.
To complete the offering, there is also an accessory section offering seals, ribbons and labels.
If you’re having any sort of occasion that will necessitate sending out invitations, check out the wedding invitations from MyGatsby.com.
