On blog posts getting comments
I decided over this past weekend that each day I was going to read a post from 5-10 new blogs (meaning blogs I don’t read regularly) and leave a comment if possible. This way I’ll see different styles of blogging, and hopefully build my own readership if they check out my blog after seeing my comment on their own blog. Today I came across a blog that required registration to something called vox before it would allow a comment. I didn’t want to register for something else so I left no comment. I think it’s sufficient that people that want to leave a comment supply their name and email. It’s also appropriate considering the spam battle that never seems to end. I don’t want to have to work to comment a blog.

Thanks for visiting my blog. And I hope you didn’t catch my “computer virus”
Why do some bloggers make it difficult to comment on their blogs? Vox, never heard of them, but I agree with your thinking on this one.
Nope, no “virus” here but a rodent died tonight. LOL.
That irks me to no end too. That and when some of them don’t even allow comments at all. What’s the point?
Hi blueyes. I don’t know. I actually had my first one today that wouldn’t allow me to comment at all, and the post wasn’t even a week old. It’s their loss.
What about having tomregister to comment! That kills me. Why would you bother.
BTW thanks for visitng my blog bbbut you didn’t comment. LOL
I thought I did comment. I’m sorry. I just visited again.
