Never a bridesmaid?

We were invited to an out of state wedding recently. While waiting for my other half to come home to discuss if we were going, I realized if it was formal we’d all need something to wear. So I began browsing an online bridal shop. I was surprised to see the extensive selection of products they had all related to weddings - wedding gowns, dresses for bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls.
I think it’s fairest when bridesmaids have input into the seleciton of the dress they’re going to wear. Particularly since most of the time they have to pay for it themselves. Comparing price to what I had to buy 10 years ago, I found this sites pricing competitive.
One of the things I enjoy most about a wedding is looking at the bridesmaid dresses.

This dress is beautiful. I love the color combination. It’s almost enough to make me want to dress up. (For those that don’t know, I hate wearing dresses.)
The site carries formal wear and prom dresses too. That’s great, because I remember the last time I had to shop for a gown. It’s a drag going store to store.
We’re not going to the wedding after all, but if we were and it were formal I might well buy that dress.
