Mom’s considering blogging.
My Mom is considering blogging. She writes well, she was an English teacher for 35 years. I made a comment one day she ought to be writing a blog and she’s been thinking about it. Today she told me she thought she was ready. I can host her blog. I told her I’ll buy her the domain. Of course, if I know my Mom, she’ll take ten weeks just to pick out the domain name.

I wish I’d known how important a domain name is for driving traffic! Oh well, I’m learning. Tell her to pick something that’s easy to type and remember!

Yes, I believe a domain name can help drive traffic, but so does good writing. And I still think there’s something to be said for having a keyword in the domain name too. But what do I know!
Hahaha! Talking about domain name, it took me a real hard time to decide too. In fact, I still dislike mine, and I still can’t make up my mind what name to give, if I have another blog!
It is like naming your child, very difficult.

She is a teacher (although retired) remember, I have a sister (also retired from teaching) and she would have to take 10 weeks to decide to blog, then a few more weeks to name it. But, the good thing is, they didn’t rush the kids in the classroom to learn every thing overngiht.
