Loving the new schcool attitude

My eleven year old has never loved school. He’s a very bright child who often doesn’t work to his potential. He’s in sixth grade this year. As I mentioned less than two weeks ago, progress reports came home and his wasn’t too bad. He has seemed to take more of an interest this year. Now I thought that was because of his teachers and that maybe he was starting to mature. Well yesterday I found out why. Yesterday afternoon he came running in and told me he had the best school seating there could be. Some seats were moved and now he was sitting next to both of the girls he likes. It’s not the first reason I’d prefer him to not be complaining about school, but I’ll take it.
