I’ve never been Down Under.

To Australia, that is. After my Googlespank I feel like I need a vacation. I started thinking about places I’d like to go if money and work were not a factor. One of the places I’d definitely want to go to Australia. I’ve heard and read that it’s beautiful. And they’ve got the Wiggles, who my youngest son loves. If I went there I’d want to see the coastal city of Adelaide, also known as the city of churches. It’s the capital of South Australia. We could grab a room at one of the hotels in Adelaide and set off to see the sights. I’d bet that in Adelaide hotels are plentiful because there are so many things to do and see in this city. There is a wildlifepark, zoo, botanical gardens, museums and tram rides. There are even cruises on the Murray River. Arts are flourishing with the city hosting such events as the Adelaide Festival of Arts.Still not enough? The Fleurieu Peninsula offers numerous wineries, many galleries. Wait, there’s more! Travel a little farther and get yourself a Brisbane accomodation. Once there you can go to one of the beaches or theme parks. You can also see a rainforest, go whale watching, take a tour or feed the dolphins. Aquatic activites such as snorkeling, surfing and scuba diving are popular in beautiful Moreton Bay. The Stradbroke Islands are rich in Aborigine history. In all, there’s a lot to do and see in the state of South Australia.
