Extreme Home Makeover thought

I just saw the commercial for tonight’s episode of Extreme Home Makeover. Now I will admit that at least half of the episodes of this show that I have seen have made me cry. Piece of background info, almost anything pertaining to sick and/or handicapped children can get me going. What I thought when I saw the commercial today I have also thought once or twice before. Tonight’s episode will be of the team making over a house in Camden, NJ. Camden is about an hour from me, and it is not a nice area. There is nothing I can conceive of that would make me live there. I don’t quite understand spending all that money to redo a house when the surrounding area is not going to change. Camden’s not exactly overflowing with luxury homes, so rather than put one where it’s out of place why not spend the money on transplanting to a better area.
