Down with the sickness.
It seems my youngest son started coming down with something yesterday. My hubby told me that last night while I was out that our son was coughing and his nose started running. This morning I heard a seal like cough and decided we needed to go to the doctors. My youngest son has had RSV and croup, and has always been prone to respiratory illnesses. I took him to the pediatrician at 11am this morning and he confirmed what I thought, he has croup again. I don’t know why I didn’t think eight year olds got croup, but apparently they do. The doc did do a strep test to be safe, the quick test came back negative. Within a very short while, less than an hour, I started not feeling well. I feel almost like I’m coming down with a flu, hopefully it’s just a cold and it will pass quickly. Later this afternoon I saw a few odd looking spots on my son, but they faded. Wonder what’s up with those. I passed on grocery shopping today so I wouldn’t be dragging the baby out, and my oldest son stayed home from basketball practice as well. Hubby worked today and he’s so nice, he’s in the kitchen cooking for us, after he worked all day. What a nice guy.

I’m sorry…I hope you all get better soon!
Natalie’s last blog post..Mmmm…Did You Smell That?
Thanks for the well wishes Natalie!
According to my mother, my half brother had croup until he was about 11-12. I remember when she would take him into the bathroom, close the door and turn on the hot water to loosen up the chest. Hope the baby is doing a little bit better now, and YOU also. Moms are not suppose to get sick, and I am glad your husband is helping.
He’s had a very rough night, we just got home from the er. I’m feeling like crap.
