Consider the patients.
I had to go for a test at the radiology department at the hospital this morning. While walking through the halls I noticed that instead of just the standard panels of bright fluorescent lighting there were images of pastel blue skies with puffy clouds, as well as hot air balloons. Pretty neat. I was taken into the room and put on a table. I looked up and all that I had to look at was the plain ugly light panel. Now tell me. Wouldn’t it make more sense to put the skies filled with puffy clouds over the table where patients have to lay looking up at the ceiling for periods of time, rather than in the hallway?
