Can you pack a suitcase?

My folks are leaving on a trip in three days. It’s for a convention and to visit one of my brothers. My Mom always brings a lot of suitcases with her on any trip. And my Mom really can pack a suitcase. She’ll get them so full you really do have to sit on one to close it. Sometimes she packs a suitcase in a suitcase, so that she’ll have an extra suitcase to use when she’s returning. I’m not sure if they have any Samsonite luggage. When they’re on a trip they also usually bring my mother’s motorized scooter. Now two of the last four times they’ve gone on a trip the airline has damaged the scooter. She always has to fight for the airline to fix it. Once the airline actually had to replace it. I wonder what will happen to the stuff they check with the airline this time.
