My Mom doesn't know how to accept "I love you" or "thanks Mom for every thing", not because she doesn't love us, but my Mom lost a son in 1981, and she has never been able to handle love being expressed verbally or physically, and we don't know how to help her be happy thru holidays or birthdays, to her just living is enough and emotions don't matter.
