Long Island pics up

Pics from last nights show are up.
Driving on Long Island is very weird. We didn’t enjoy the drive.
We were late, but luck was with us, friends were holding spots in the front row for us.

I wish we could have gone to the Hartford CT show tonight but the traffic will be ridiculous I’m sure. And the drunks (and police) will probably be out in full force too, because of the holiday.

MY REVIEW
Well I’ve gotten just under 2 hours of sleep in over 36 hours, so let me just say my ass is beat.
We got stuck in horribibble traffic and got to the venue later than planned. We missed the entire Lynam set, which I’d wanted to catch.
My two Hinder sisters BlissWithBlower and MissCodyHanson from PA had been kind and generous enough to bust their butts saving spots up front for me and hubby, so we were fortunate enough to be front row once again. (Thanks again girls!)
After we got into our spots BWB and MCH wanted to go see Lynam so we were holding their spots.
We saw the whole 18 visions set. The singer is cute. Here’s what comes to mind first when I think of 18 visions. James crotch. It made me giggle, the grinding and air humping.
Still no BWB and MCH.
Anyway, finally what we’d gone for, Hinder. We were informed by venue security we’d only be allowed to take pics for the first three songs, and after that anyone caught taking a pic would have their camera or phone taken and that they weren’t good with electronic devices. I was very disappointed. I take lots of pictures, so I was bummed only being able to squeeze in 51 shots in 3 songs.
Still no sign of BWB and MCH.
So the guys opened with How Long again, still a good choice. They did cover Take Me Home Tonight later in the set. They played every song off of the cd. My highlight of the night was getting to see Running in the Rain performed live. They closed with Get Stoned as expected.
The guys sounded great and the live performance did not disappoint.
We felt a bit bummed that MCH and BWB hadn’t made it back.
Afterwards, Lynam and 18 visions were doing their thing in the back at the merch tables.
What can I say about Lynam. David is cute. One of the other ones, how in the hell does his hair stay up there?
New Hinder merch, one word, yech. Nothing impressed either of us.
Hinder did not stay to sign at the merch booth at all, also very disappointing. First we heard the venue was too small which was bull. They’ve stayed every time at far smaller venues. Then they were whisked off to a photo shoot (cough yeah ok cough) by the little dictator. I wonder when those pics will be published.
Sorry for such a short review, but my ass is tired and I now have to pack for our vacation that we’re leaving for Friday morning, as well as get things ready for tomorrow. I’ll post more as I think of it and work on getting pics up too.
