Fairhaven Health giveaway

After RB and I got married it took us more than ten years to conceive TJ. I tried some crazy stuff and nearly drove myself crazy. Don’t even get me started on the old wives tales I actually tried. In those days fertility was a word for people with money. Back then there were no over the counter fertility aids or products. We had no medical insurance and no money. Today the health industry has recognized that there are people that want to have children, and to that end products are becoming available to working folks just like you and I. Thanks to KMR Communications I’ve got three products from Fairhaven Health to giveaway.

About Fairhaven Health – Every Step of the Way

Fairhaven Health is dedicated to helping all trying-to-conceive couples get pregnant sooner and healthier. And for years now, we’ve been achieving that important goal. From preconception through pregnancy and nursing, Fairhaven Health is there – every step of the way – to provide clinically-proven products designed to safely and naturally promote fertility and pregnancy wellness. As a trusted leader in the field of reproductive health, our fertility solutions are cooperatively developed and formulated by a diverse panel of medical experts – including doctors, ObGyns, nutritionists, and naturopaths. Noted fertility expert, Amos Grunebaum, MD, plays a pivotal role in medical advisory and helped establish our FertilAid, FertileCM, FertiliTea, and Pregnancy Plus product lines.

Most importantly, Fairhaven Health cares about product efficacy and quality. That’s another way of saying we care about our customers and their special journeys. We integrate the best of both worlds, bringing together traditional Western (allopathic) medicine with clinically-supported research in herbal/homeopathic fields. All of our supplement products are based on clinically-established science and all manufacture is governed by strict GMP standards and third-party quality testing. Significantly, products like FertilAid for Men have undergone their own double-blind placebo-controlled studies – with remarkable, research-advancing results in improving key male fertility parameters like sperm count and motility.

Our product lines follow the natural progression from preconception to pregnancy to nursing. Our preconception products focus on fertility awareness and ovulation prediction, helping couples learn about their fertility and anticipate when they are most likely to conceive. Nutritional fertility supplements like FertilAid & FertileCM provide balance and support enhanced fertility for both women and men. Once couples receive the good news, products like Pregnancy Plus Prenatal and Pregnancy Plus Omega3 promote the prenatal health of a developing baby and help ensure pregnancy wellness for the mother – from the first days of pregnancy through the first years of nursing.
Our distribution partners comprise a reputable circle of health product retailers and fertility solution providers, including drugstore.com, BabyCenter, CVS, and Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com.

  1. When I was carrying my 2nd child everyone insisted that it was a boy because I was carrying low. Everyone swore up and down that it was a boy. Until my water broke and I had my 2nd daughter!

  2. If te baby is high in your stomach it’s a boy, if it’s lower it’s a girl.

  3. I once worked in a floral shop with a superstitious Brazilian woman who would avoid brooms like the plague. I asked her why one day and she told me that in Brazil, if someone sweeps a broom across your feet it means you will have seven children!

  4. I have been blessed with 2 daughters and both were 9 pounds and both had to be induced…spicy foods, sex,etc..did not help me.

  5. I’ve heard that having sex the day of ovulation will produce a boy.. it has a 50% chance of being right 😉

  6. Ceratain foods ( acidic? ) can determine the sex of the baby to be prior to intercourse. This was one of the tales heard.

  7. Im wondering on how people make girls? We have 4 boys!! I heard that if you drink warm milk right before you “do it” then you will have a girl??? Never worked for me!!

  8. Ive heard the wives tale about determining the sex of the baby. If the Daddy does all the work then the couple will have a girl. If the Momma did all the “work” then they will be having a boy. LOL

  9. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 14 years. We decided to adopt 2 years ago and are still going through the adoption process. People always say “now that you are adopting, you will get pregnant!” Actually, that happens to less than 2 percent of people, from what I’ve been told from my doctor.

  10. An old wives conception is that women should sleep to the left of their partners if they want a boy

  11. With my 2nd kid I had a friend in there watching the delivery. After my son was born my friend’s boyfriend asked to come in and see my son and I said that was fine. Next thing I know, the boyfriend’s passed out on the floor having hit his head on the way down! Made it even more memorable.

  12. When I was in europe I saw some candles shaped like sperm and the seller said they were to increase fertility. Strange!

  13. I just had my son October 2, he’s 4 days old but my mom and I were just talking and it’s coincidental I came over this contest… last December I was cooking brownies and cracked open an egg with a double yolk, and it’s a old wifes tale meaning pregnancy, well I turned up pregnant in January!

  14. My favorite “if you just relax and stop worrying about it you’ll get pregnant”. Thanks!

  15. first off i have never been preg, trying for a little over 5 yeras. people dont understand how devasting it is to have infertility issuses. but I have had a million people tell me to do this or do that to get preg.. its all hogwash.

  16. I married later in life and have been trying to have a child for 5 years without any success. We are deeply in debt due to the failed IUI’s and IVF’s.

So I was happy to read of your contest because they were items I had wanted to purchase, but could not justify due to our debt.

My doctors are basically telling me I am too old and they want me to try donor eggs. But I am not ready for that yet. So I keep researching alternative ways to increase fertility on the internet.

Elephants are symbols of fertility. And dragons are supposed to increase male fertility. According to Feng Shui, you are supposed to have these figures in the bedroom to increase your chances of having a child. Plus you are supposed to keep the area under your bed clutter-free.

    Thanks for listening!

  17. Ahhh, immediately comes to mind…Standing on your head after..?!? Definetly an old wives tale haha:)

  18. I was told once that if your husband drinks a ton of caffiene for 2 days before trying to conceive, that it will make the sperm move faster and therefore give you better chances of getting pregnant!

  19. The dumbest thing I ever heard was
“get drunk, you’ll get pregnant!”: and the most painful was “It’s God’s will, live with it”.
I have children now and I am trying once more, thanks for the contest

  20. hi i have been on fertility meds for some time, and i too have tried just about everything-including what a friend told me to do- get a pumpkin have my mom rub it on my belly and then find a river and gently send the pumpkin sailing-well as you can tell it hasnt worked yet- so we keep trying!! lets hope we get prego soon.

  21. Putting the shoes of a man with several children under your bed supposed to increase fertility. Hee Hee

  22. yep there are some funny ones- the standing on the head- eat saurkraut- you name em- I believe its gonna be what God wants it to be and by the way kraut only causes Gas

  23. I’m convinced i’m going to end up with all boys when its all said and done(dh has THREE brothers) so i was in search of “how to make a girl” after having my baby boy! What did i learn? The best time is a few days BEFORE ovulation! We’ll see if it really works………..

  24. So we would like to try for baby #2 and of course since we have a son we are hoping for a little girl (don’t get me wrong…we’d love another little boy as well). We were talking my in-laws and they were sharing with us the “ways” to conceive to ensure that the baby is a boy or a girl. The conversation was a little embarrassing coming from the in-laws but they were very scientific and technical about it and apparently there are books that tell you how to choose the baby’s gender (have you heard of Intelligender? I don’t know if I believe it…

Anyway…i find it so funny how people look at the way you’re carrying a baby and “know” if it’s a boy or a girl. I had so many women come up to me telling me I was having a little girl…I was carrying like a girl and it was a girl! Well…I saw the ultrasound and my doctor had confirmed that it was indeed a boy! Go figure!

  25. I know all of the old wives tales. Eat meat three times a day, eat eggs for breakfast,do the wild thing in every position imaginable except standing, put a pink ribbon under your pillow and never ever pull the plug on the bathtub when you are in it. So I see that there are some other things to try still!!
