Big Fish Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin

I love hidden object games. They are one of my most favorite types of computer game to play. The only thing that sometimes irks me a little about them is that so many of them are “dark” and mysterious. To date the hidden object games I have enjoyed the most had brighter colors and a cheerful storyline. Those things are exactly what you will find in the new Big Fish hidden object game Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin.

Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin was just recently released worldwide. The game was actually designed to appeal to the consumer base of female gamers ages 35-70. That’s me!!!

Auction and trade, get trophies for ranking, and complete collection sets for more rewards! Use your experience and money for fantastic upgrades to your store and get food items for energy that will help with your searching.

Your character has just taken over a rundown old antique shop in the town of Beechwood Cove.

As you play the game you have to update and stock your shop and restore collectibles which you will eventually sell. You do this by doing things in Beechwood Cove, and by traveling to other towns to collect items.

The main way that you find the items is by playing hidden object games. One  neat thing about this game is that you can see items you have to find before playing the board. This is helpful if you’re in the midst of trying to collect something (paint cans, for example) in order to do another task.

The boards are all bright and colorful.

The boards do repeat themselves but have different items added in so they’re not completely the same each time you play them.

You will also get additional items from beating mini games where you find the differences, solve a puzzle or match things up. If you can find things in a hurry you get a bonus. If you get stuck you can ask your puppy for a hint. Along with finding items you will also earn money. The more money you earn the more upgrades you can purchase. In order to complete some of the challenges you will also need to update some other buildings in the town.
